Nevele R Stud is pleased to announce that it is introducing an exciting and rewarding breeders bonus incentive scheme for its clients this season.

The progeny of all paying mares served in both New Zealand and Australia by Nevele R's 2011-12 on-farm stallions (including Red River Hanover) will be eligible for the Nevele R Breeders Bonus (NRBB) scheme.

This bonus is in the format of a $5,000 cash payment paid to the breeders of a Group race (Group 1, 2 & 3) winner. It applies to both sexes and a horse winning multiple Group races will be paid out for each win, e.g. if a horse wins three Group races then the breeders of that horse will be paid a total of $15,000 in bonuses.

In addition every filly/mare that wins a Group level race will receive, on their first Group race win only, a $2,500 breeding voucher that will be redeemable against the service fee of all NRBB eligible stallions.

The bonuses will be paid out on Group races won during a horse's 2, 3 and 4 year old racing career only and the scheme includes both New Zealand and Australian Group races.

The eligible stallions for the 2011-12 season are Badlands Hanover, Changeover, Continentalman, Lis Mara, Live Or Die, McArdle, P-Forty Seven, Tintin In America and Red River Hanover. These stallions will be denoted by the NRBB logo displayed on their advertisements.

The complete terms and conditions will be printed in the NZ Harness Racing Weekly and placed on our website in the coming weeks.

not a bad idea to encourage handy mares to return to nevele r, but would anyone that owns a group winning mare really be that fussed over 2,500 off a service fee?

would be very good a for a group 3 win, as some of them are significantly weaker then group 2's

Live or Die, I would breed to him. Lis Mara perhaps in time. Badlands given the right mare. The others don't excite me, they need some new horses.

It is a good thought though.
