Want to see a 3yo filly with a wicked turn of foot?
Watch Kensington Palace put the hammer down as they round the final turn the 8th at Bendigo last night. Left them standing. Dam's Posh Jaccka, 1:51 & 330k+.

Have to agree Jaimie, she did go well: loves to lead. Still think she' s a rung below the best of them but is improving with every run. We are glad we kept her though, she is our insurance policy for old Posh. I don' t think Posh will have any more foals; she is unable to carry them full term and we tried 3 times last season with a recipient mare but the embryos diidn't mature. Might try one more time: nontheless the old girl will have a good home for life.

G'day Anne,

Didn't initially notice she was yours. Congrats. Not a bad insurance policy for her dam. Have always liked the chances of fillies like her to make the grade as broodmares later on. That point to point high speed she has is such an advantage in the breeding barn. Fillies like her, I think they are starting off a long way in front of their peers because of that speed. You can to a fair degree train a level of stamina into them but not speed, they're born with speed. It comes factory fitted.

Strange tactics at Bendigo tonight. Certainly not a good look for the image of harness racing. Not sure how two professional drivers could get it so wrong. Both horses gone before the 400. Hate to see what the penalty would be if it was two hobby drivers.
