Last week in the Northern Southland Cup there was a protest put in when Beaudine Bad Babe was denied room in the passing lane. Whatever the reason the descison was made and its history, however afterwards Brent Shirley the driver of Vi Et Animo stated : "There was nothing in it, Beaudiene Bad Babe had every opportunity and wasn't going good enough. They were grasping at straws with a horse that should be retired, I thought it was poor sportsmanship and very political. Dexter didn't need to take the gap on the inside and drove the horse into trouble, he made it look unlucky. The passing lane is there for the trailing horse and Dustin Bromac was in the trail, it's that simple,". Well whatever yor thoughts are on the outcome reached by the JCA. Brent's statemen about BBB being retired is probably the MOST stupid things I have heard from anyone after BBB winning a Group race last night.

After suggesting Beaudine Bad Babe should be retired after the Northern Southland Cup,perhaps after Vi Et Animo's run in the cup today he should be the one retired ??
