Just going through the fields and i noticed a couple of nicely bred colts stepping out for the first time in a race.

Rce 4
BIGRISK - Somebeachsomewhere colt out of Artistic Vision making him a half brother to Rock N Roll Heaven 1.47.6 and $2.7m.

Rce 5
Source Of Pride - American Ideal colt out of Trim Hanover making him a full brother to outstanding filly this year American Jewel 1.48.2 $1m.

Both colts were sold at Lexington in 2011

Bigrisk- formally named Hitting The Cycle was sold for $450k

Source Of Pride was sold for $280k

Can see where they got the name Bigrisk from but impeccably bred.

Source Of Pride bounced back in great fashion after making a mistake a week earlier. He won at the Meadowlands on the 6th of july going 1:52.4 and looked good doing it. Bigrisk placed 3rd in a later race which the winner's time was 1:52.4

Thanks Mango, I'm glad about Source of Pride, thats a horse that interests me in particular. Sadly this years Meadowlands Pace looks to only be a 600K race well down from the million of only a few years ago.

Hi Dot

I just looked at the Meadowlands pace heats and there's 8 in each, it's run sat night over there so we should get to see it live a bit before lunch time sunday which will be good.

Sadly I'll be working, I knew it was going to be 2 eliminations of 8 thus the reduction in prizemoney, have been following it, and the locals commentry on the runners, on the lightning lane
