Nights of Glory Superstable Comp

To be conducted over The Derby Heats, The Trot Championship Hts, Ballarat Cup/Pure Steel, Hunter Cup/FFA, Trot Final/Gp3Trot and Derby Fnl.

I have selected horses points value based on TAB Fixed Odds (points have been skewed in each division dependent on amount of available prizemoney for those horses to earn). You must pick three from each each group (3yos, Trotters, Open) plus you get one free choice pick (still included in salary cap but can be any horse; open, trotter or 3yo) who will earn double for you. Scoring is based on the real prizemoney the horses earn. The catch? You only have 250points as a salary cap (25perhorse) EDIT: You get 3 trades during next week heading into the Melton meeting; one open, one trotter and one 3yo may be swapped however you must keep the same captain!

Great job by Mango this week; Stunnin Cullen as Skipper and Power of Tara also in the stable so can’t ask for much more than that! Don Corleone will be hoping the Hunter Cup throws up an upset so he can capitalize even more on his selection of Gold Ace as skipper. While most of us went with Smoken Up as captain Phoenix and Tyson have Im Themightyquinn and they will need him to win the Huntet Cup if they are to take out the title.

Great effort by the top 2 as Ive previously mentioned - a class above us mere mortals! Peachy and Maoris Idol were not disgraced either!

Let Me Thru won the feature trot after being well supported; I think I Can Doosit was the most popular trotter though.
Gold Ace was a let down for the forum faithful; with none of us including Sushi Sushi or Excel Stride in the Derby!
Smoken Up was a well supported stable star and the scratching from the Hunter Cup stuffed a lot of peoples chances!
