Looking to breed an artsplace mare this season, and wanting peoples opinions on a good sire selection, I know there have been plenty of good crosses in the states, but not to many artsplace mares down under. possibly looking at sending her to roll with joe..any other opinions would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Hi Lisa

If i had an Artsplace mare i would be going to RNR Hanover for sure as the cross is tried and proven in the states but it also come's back to what you can afford.

Yes the previous owner got a rnr hanover filly from her in 09, would love to send her to him but a bit out of my price range unfortunately...

Lisa, I think RWJ is a very good option.
I am almost certian to send one of my Artsplace mares to him

The Panderosa/Artsplace cross has been as impressive as any cross. A son of The Panderosa like Shadow Play could be an option. RnR Hanover is another obvious choice. Budget is often the deciding factor.

I just booked my Albert Albert mare into RWJ. I am tipping he will be pretty busy this season. It was great of Pepper Tree to provide pedigree analysis for all of their stallions to my mares which also helped me make the decision to RWJ.

Would be good to know your thoughts on him after seeing him in the flesh dallas.
