The Harness Jewels really came of age today. Records went flying all day. To round it off with Border Control going 1:50:6 in the last was just the icing on the cake for me. Big thank-you to everybody involved for making it such a breathtaking day, one that will live in the memory for a long time.

Really enjoyed the coverage on Sky 2 here in Aus. Track was on fire later in the day and the class of racing was outstanding.

Christen Me was electric making a mid race move and proving he is destined to be the next grand circuit star. That said I thought the runs of Ohaka Punter and Bit of a Legend in the 3yo were just phenominal. Credit to the winner, Border Control, but the 2nd & 3rd were enormous in a race that rated 1.50.6.
