Enquiry, re pacer, Just Ned

Hi,


I`ve been wondering what has become of the pacer, "Just Ned", who I followed for a while, and who won a race about June last year, but has never raced again, as far as I`m aware.
I wonder whether he may have been sold and exported to Aussie?
I`d appreciate any reply who may know where he is now, Cheers, Allan

Hi Allan

Just Ned does not appear to have been exported. He did go to the NZ workouts in Sep and Oct 2013 where he was unplaced, but that is all I could find. He appears to be trained by Russell Kennedy so might be worth contacting him.

Thanks for your reply, I did manage to find the video of the horse when winning his first race in the South Island, and the way he won it, suggested there were more wins in store for him, which I was surprised to not see him in any race fields since, so maybe as you suggest, the trainer of the horse might be the bet way to find out where the horse has gone to, I think the driver was M Thornley.

Distinct possibility that he might have been out injured as he hadn't raced since June 2013 although he was at the workouts in Sept and Oct 2013. Went pretty well at Rangiora and appeared to be carrying a lot of condition.
