I would like to ask Mr Bellino does Bruce Saunders train Lookinforadventure or Big Jim in every article he almost puts down Lookinforadventure and says how great Big Jim is. So I would like to ask Mr Bellino does this bother you? I know if that was my trainer I would not be happy.

Hi Fullerton

His probably stating the obvious that Big Jim is the bench mark this year and trying to take some pressure of himslf. How good of a horse is Lookinforadventure and are there any horses hitting the tracks over there at the moment that are serious 3yr old contenders.

Lookinforadventure is a great horse so is big Jim. But I wouldn't want my trainer to talk like that. The trainer of Big Jim does not speak like that . This was not the only article he done that in , the article in the horseman was way worse.I would love to know Mr Bellino's take on it.Big Bad John has Quali twice very nice.

Hi Fullerton

Thank's i've just found his breeding in the 2010 Lexington yearling sale book, would he be one of the last crops by Western Hanover. Any info you can give me along the line as to which horses you think that are going good would be great that way i can keep an eye out and hopefully watch them. When do the 2yr old's start comming out to play.

Well probably mid to late June on the 2yo crop I have been keeping my eye on some horses at farm but the RocknRoll Hanovers seem to be at the front of the line again . Lis Mara and Jereme's Jet most are in Canada.

Hi Fullerton

I see Big Jim and Lookinforadventure go at it this wkend, how's the depth of horses overall for this race. What sought of time could be expected from an early season race like this.

Of the 9 starters in the NJ Classic Prep, 2 are by Western Ideal and the other 7 are by his son, Rocknroll Hanover.

To me he didn't look like he got out of 2nd gear, he races mainly the same horses with the inclusion of Shadyshark Hanover in the $400k final next wk.

I've heard a little rumour (and I must say, it is only a rumour) that the Meadowlands may be getting slots? Anyone else heard this or know anything about this happening? And that some big financial backers have now stepped in? I really do hope so, it would be a such a shame to loose such an iconic track.

Hi Flashing Red

The finacial backers have been negotiating since december last year and they hope to take over the running of the Meadowlands on the 1st of june. They would love to have slots there but they have been given no guarentee that they will ever get slots. They are going to build a new grandstand on the other side of the track not as big as the existing one and once it is built they are knocking the old one down.

Hi Fullerton

I watched Mystician win the Upper Canada Cup by over 6 lengths in 1:50.2 and looked to be doing it easy. How would you compare him to Big Jim and others at this time. It looks like the North America Cup will be a cracking race this year.

Triple says...I suspect if they do go in they'll go in with AC Casino ties...then it will confirm once & for all that it's Boardwalk Empire without the wing tips and snappy suits. Instead of Walter. E. Edge having his strings pulled by Nucky Johnson it'll be Christie having his strings pulled by the AC Casino $$$ that put him in the slot in the first place. I hope I'm wrong.

Hi Mango,
There are two or three horses that I think will be a huge test for big Jim Bettorthancheddar, Big Bad John, and RollwithJoe.

Hi Fullerton

I watched Bettorthancheddar race the other night and he cut a nice mile in 1:49.2 and looked nice in doing it i also read comments that they wished they had a few more runs under his belt, there looks to be alot of untapped potential there. Don't know much about Big Bad John so hopefully you might be able to fill me in there. RollwithJoe i watched his race at the meadowlands on the same card as Big Jim but in a earlier race and he goes nice i also noticed that RollwithJoe is a full brother to Bettor's Delight.

Hi Fullerton

You mentioned Roll With Joe before he won on the wkend and i thought Bettorthancheddar went good aswell, it opens up the race's over the next couple of wk's before the cup and after watching the racing on the wkend there's 5 or 6 good horse's that if they make the final anyone of them could take it out with the right draw. Just a question for you have they ever taken a sit with Big Jim as he seem's to leave himself open for the back markers.

Fullerton

I think its going to be RollwithJoe or Big Bad John there are no standouts in this group yet . In my opinion there will be a different winner every week.

I thought Big Jim would hard to beat this year but after getting beat on the wkend and watching some of the other race's there are contenders galore. It make's for some interesting racing comming up with the heats of the NA cup and then the final the week later.

Agreed. This crop is showing a hell of a lot more depth at 3yrs than it appeared to have at 2yrs. Looking forward to what's shaping up to be a great season of racing.

Here's a bit of trivia for you Mango. The dam of Betterthancheddar is a Camtastic sired half sister to the Nero sired dam of none other than Parson's Den. Armed with that fact I'm sure you will henceforth sleep soundly.:D

Hi Fullerton

How would you sum up Big Jims last run in the NA Cup, personally i thought there was merrit in his run and i did like to see him take a sit. It might be only me but he could of been on the gate a bit more aswell.

Hi Mango,
First let me say I am a Big Jim fan . I think the race was an improvement for him. I also thought he was in an impossible spot to win where he got away. Like I have said before I think you will see a different winner in all the big races. It's going to be more exciting than last year.
