For sale:
New & un-used ASTEC Sulky, carbon fibre bike. This is the only remaining ASTEC carbon fibre sulky in brand new, never used condition built in the mid 90′s.
The ASTEC Sulky was designed by Angus Noble and built by TWR as part of a joint venture. TWR (Tom Wilkinshaw Racing) was a British engineering firm and racing team famous for building high end sports cars, touring cars and formula one cars. The ASTEC Sulky was built by TWR’s carbon fibre & composite specialists to F1 car standards of engineering and quality.
The ASTEC was extremely successful with a track record which includes victories in the Hambletonian, the Little Brown Jug and the Jugette. Its most famous victory was probably the 1998 Hambletonian with John Campbell and Muscles Yankee.
