Hi All

Looking for some advice on where to start learning and developing a Pacer knowledge.

where to find good drivers /Trainers
where to find good quality horses
where to learn the in's and out on harness racing

Have recently bought in to syndicate a 2 yr old filly by Art Major out of a Classic Garry -broodmare named Yeronga Songbird ( also some Hanover blood in her)
so near as I can see its a start .

reading as much as I can but looking to learn more as its good to read but if you don't understand what your reading it can be frustrating .

not looking to make a living just a fun good hobby with quality horses .

Chris
You can borrow Care and Training of the Trotter and Pacer, published by the US Trotting Association from our library (Memorabilia and History also) at the Bendigo Harness Racing Club if you like?
It is a great way to find useful info...also I'm sure that the staff at the Harness Racing School at Bendigo would be happy to help.
You can contact us at ridgennoel@gmail.com

Hi Chris, Welcome and Congrats on getting into Trotting and your off to a pretty good start buying into a nicely bred Filly from a terrific racemare, I would suggest that you have a look at Classicfamilies.net on Google, When you get there punch in Yeronga Songbird and this will give you a good look at her pedigree, It's very educational. Good luck mate.
