Dickie wins Australasian Young Drivers Champ

A golden weekend continued for the Dickie family when young harness racing driver Joshua Dickie claimed the Australasian Young Drivers Championship title today (Monday June 6). It took a win in the final race of the series held at the Ashburton Trotting Club's meeting for Dickie to snatch the title from Matty Williamson who looked home for all money at the start of the day, but a disqualification early on for Williamson behind the Bruce Hutton trained Hu Keas, opened the door for an opportunist Josh Dickie to walk through.
