New Zealand Racing Board Chairman Michael Stiassny has welcomed the appointment of new Minister for Racing Craig Foss and praised the work of retiring Minister John Carter. Mr Carter held the Racing portfolio since 2008 but will shortly retire from politics, with all of his portfolios taken over by Mr Foss as a Minister outside Cabinet.
