G'day Flashing,
I'm really starting to warm to the unusually named Custard The Dragon. Was impressed with his Hoosier Cup win. Excellent drive by Montrell Teaguge btw. Interested to see if the colt can carry that form into the Meadowlands Pace. The $$$ available at this level is incredible. Take Big Jim for example. This season he has been racing a fair way below his best form of last season as a 2yo and yet he has still banked close on 500k at 3yrs. Also expect a bold showing from Great Vintage. I read somewhere a while ago that Jimmy Takter was specifically setting the horse for the Meadowlands Pace.

Hi Fullerton

What did you think of the Elim's and who would be your pic to take out the final next saturday night.

If the Meadowlands website or the USTA website gets any slower with updating results i could have a sleep for 2hrs and still be waiting on the result. The one good thing about Aus Harness site results are up in 15mins.

Roll With Joe in 1:48 & a piece.
Bettor's Delight's little brother gets it done.
Classic Wish... what a GREAT BROODMARE.

Yeah he wen't super, Big Jim had a lot of ground to cover was probably thinking Betterthancheddar would carry him into the race a bit more and great to see Foreclosure N come in for 4th.

Even though he finished 2nd I think that was the best effort I've seen from Big Jim to date. He seems to race better with a target than he does off the front.

No doubt about it VVV. Classic Wish is up there with the great broodmares of all time.
It will be interesting to see if any southern hemisphere studs can secure this horse.

Roll With Joe is 1 second quicker than Bettor's and look's to have a bit more size about him, he is now over the $1mil mark and should add to this by the end of the year.
