Talk Stallions, Broodmares, Yearlings or anything related to breeding here
Anyone got some inside gossip on any new sires coming over this season? Ive seen those alabar have announced but surely there would be a few more than that, figured those in the know on here might have an idea
did anyone go or have results from the sale? how did they sell? phone bidding was near impossible unfortunately, completely missed the lot I was interested in
The new roster is up on twitter and probably their web site. Not too many changes.
Does this stallion still stand at Mountain View stud - he is not listed on the HRA's stallion page. Notched up 2 winners at Melton tonight
With no Rock n Roll Hanover and no Somebeachsomewhere on our shores this year there will be a lot of people looking for new options. What's all the mail on what's coming to our shores? Appears light on for new blood this year.
Here's a few more to look at Jack Always a Virgin $1,022,703 at 3 Rock n Roll Heaven $2,156,192 at 3 Roll with Joe $1,649,725 at 3 Sportswriter $750,780 at 3 and was injured.
I looked up Grins stats tonight as he sired another 'trotting' winner tonight and I wondered how many that made. But what caught my attention was the fact that he has only had twenty-five AU/NZ $100k winners. I had considered him a fair sire and I...

On first look I wasn't sure about the dam line of Saturday's Empire Vicbred Gp1 winner My Bella Starr but on digging a little further found a strong correlation to NZ star juvenile Sky Major Not only are they from the same branch of N58 (Scottish...

A friend has just brought a yearling by she said Peagasus spur out of Maori Sunshine can anyone give me any info on this breeding
Have you ever seen a larger hind quarter on a yearling than that on the colt Mr Rosati bought in Christchurch yesterday. The colt is by Rocknroll Heaven. A truly top looking colt with power written all over him....
I have a Safely Kept half-sister to Distant Memory. Foaled late, first live foal, wasn’t going to breed this season but we may try one straw. The mare’s best performing sibling, Distant Memory, is by Troublemaker (Most Happy Fella). Another...
Where can i look up times and results for the sale ?
On the same night that Bling It On blitzs in the 2yoC semis at Ballarat the family also had the winner of the Mares Free For All in Flying Pocketlands. This N185 family sprouted from nowhere thanks to 1978 mare Glitter by Lordship with the above 2...
I think I need to put more white on my coloured ones lol. Yes he has great pedigree on both side unlike the skewbalds but alas one day I will get there and for the time being just continue to breed from well bred stock and one day yes one day I...

For the breeding buffs I would love some opinions on what stallions you think would suit this mare. I was entrusted with the care and safe keeping of the glorious old brown roan racemare ladybird a few years back when she was having trouble...
What is everyone's selection for leading first season sire for the upcoming season? Some fairly interesting sires progeny hitting the track this season. Sportswriter, Art Official, Always a Virgin, Changeover, Mister Big, Shadow Play and Tell All...
Very interesting for Rock n Roll Heaven's young ones that have gone through the sale so far, They are averaging around $69,000. The 7 Colts have averaged $51,000 and the 19 Fillies have averaged $82,000. Staggering return for the fairer sex.
