From the first race meeting in January 2022 the base prizemoney for mid-week races run by Club Menangle will increase to $9,800.
Prizemoney for these races will be advertised at $9,996, as NSW pays 102 per cent of base prizemoney to ensure all starters receive a minimum of two per cent.

Ultimate Baxter has not raced that much at Menangle but he improved seconds to beat his stablemate Ultimate Byron again, it must not have been a surprise to the stable as he was kept pretty safe as 2nd fav
