Matt Markhams article on commentators

I have been away but just read Matt's story i The Press about the two grass track meetings last weekend when Thomas Wood and Trevor Wilkes were filling in for Mark McNamara.

I agree completely with the story that both days had some terrible mistakes in the commentaries and please can Trevor still with the dogs - 750 m or whatever they race is as far as he can accurately call a race.

Don't be too harsh on ol Trev! That was his first call of the trots since he did a good job filling in at Addington after the passing of DT... Woods is getting better but with all the flack he's copping, seems to have lost that enthusiam in his calls.

Nobody can fill Macca's shoes. He is THE BEST.
