A Newcomers Perspective

Over the past 2 weeks with the Inters on I have been watching them on Trackside. I have a relation staying who years ago was a avid Harness racing Supporter and in fact was part owner of 2-3 horses. Over the past 10 years he has lived in the UK so has lost touch with Harness Racing. His interest has been reborn watching, however, a couple of comments he has made hit the nail on the head. He asked me how I could sit there and listen to the presenters? I had to agree. Since the days of Mick, Justy etc the presenting on trackside for Harness is, well, boring. I know Mick wasn't everyone's cup of tea but the passion was easy to see and hear as was Justy's. The guys we have now are full of cliches and repeat themselves on a number of occassions. Adam Hamilton has been a breath of fresh air from the Aussie's perspective. Mark McNamara's input is as expected from a true professional. Anyway, there's my gripe for the day:mad:
