I looked up Grins stats tonight as he sired another 'trotting' winner tonight and I wondered how many that made.
But what caught my attention was the fact that he has only had twenty-five AU/NZ $100k winners.
I had considered him a fair sire and I know he still has young ones and crops to come but if you take away the $7m his top 2 American breds have earnt he is not averaging $6k per starter.
Sheez it is a tough game.
