Don’t be to harsh on D Miles, think theres a bit more to it.

R3 Courmayeur has drawn 1 to lead and has looked fantastic in the lead up BUT she is just too short at $1.35
She has never started this short before, much less in a Gp1
She has had 3 previous Gp1's and been unplaced in all of them
Her strongest opposition are her stablemates that have drawn poorly
It sounds like I am potting her but although I think she will win, I cannot entertain her price
R4 The draw has made it an interesting viewing race but not a punting race IMO as I just cannot see how you can bet against The Lost Storm because of his class but $1.40 from barrier 12 - no thanks
Could Another Nien get a place at $10 - can he hold the lead until The Storm comes without copping too much pressure?
I want The Lost Storm to win as he is a champion 2yo and for him to have < $80k in the bank does not seem right
R5 and the draw has made this one interesting too
There has been considerable money for Dougs Babe ($2.40) to beat Tough Tilly ($1.75) but i don't find the odds for either attractive (I should have mentioned much earlier that I am not really a big punter)
If Ladies In Red was in the race in Tough Tilly's draw, she would be $1.30 or less
If I was to have an interest I would take Tay Tay if she gets out to $10. If she had Sugars or Butt on her, I would take the current $9
R6 is too hard for someone who is not a trotting gait devotee (I don't watch enough of them and cannot be bothered doing the form)
R7 is likely to be the race of the night. I think Major Moth has had the perfect prep for it but Better Eclipse appears to be in peak form despite already contesting the Inter.
There are several leading possibilities but I am thinking Act Now could come around and give the Moth a lovely trail if he doesn't already have it on Eclipse's back. Mind you La Captain could come around if Eclipse gets stuck in Death early
Too tricky for me
R8 I think I heard Kate Gath say last night that Catch A Wave is the fastest beginner she has driven
If he leads probably wins but although a likely future champion he can be a bit quirky
He has blown from $1.35 to $1.80 with a few runners shortening a little but the biggest mover has been Roarforroscoe coming in from $34 to $10
If Catch A Wave got to Evens it would be tempting while if Heza Son Of Agun approaching $10 would be a good interest
With the stablemate scratched in R9 Joyful is unbackable at $1.06
You cannot get $71 about Aureus anymore but I would be more comfortable having $20 on her than $5,000 on Joyful for the same return
