Okay Folks, It would be fantastic to see some new foal photo's.
I reckon the poster of this thread might like the look of this one
I am sorry that I could not load the big pic Rich but the file was too big (and Silverlight would not play ball to let me compress it)
This size would make a good avatar pic for you :)
Bettor's Delight colt from Beach Froi, Just short of 2 weeks old in this photo.
Beautiful looking Colt.
Thanks Evan and Ross, I'm absolutley tickled pink with this young fella, My partner is also ecstatic, This is the first colt born on the property for 5 or 6 years.
That is a powerful looking little fella! Congratulations!!

Mr Feelgood - Lace And Whiskey colt.
Really nice package Phil, Congrats mate, Mr Feelgood leaves really nice types.
Nice one Rich, he is bound to be quicker than his owner. ;)
Explanation (which may prove useful for others to remember) - Rich had a beautiful HD pic but Harnesslink will only let you attach a file that is <98kb and so he has had to do some refiguring
don't know if this worked or not here is a photo of a nice colt by Arwoc Flier out of The Lyon King mare at 11 days old
Nice colt Greg, Love the colour, He's the image of mum.
Success David - she was worth the effort (and I learnt a new trick LOL)
Very nice David, Congrats mate
Colt by Rock N Roll Heaven out of Nightoffire. Closely related to Flaming Flutter, Mark Dennis and Mister Whittaker. Lovely foal
Nice looker Terry.
I am thinking this thread could be part of the answer to 'How do we get people to breed/buy more foals?'
Nothing more rewarding to me than (making a decision on which stallion) seeing a foal born, raising it, handling it (lead, tie up, pick up feet etc), watching it develop its own personality and characteristics (they are all a little bit different) and then seeing them go on to win races (any race but feature and group races are more special). I get far more satisfaction out of this than winning races with yearlings that I have purchased (I do not develop the same connection with these ones) All the better ones Abettorpunt, Amajorjo, Master of Disquise, Frosty Lady, Frosty Bulldog, Lewisienna Jo etc were all great to get along with as foals and were quick learners.
Very nice Terry, Congrats mate
Just thought I would show a new foal of mine -a good looking filly bred at Peppertree farm
The sire is Sportswriter and the mare is Lady Peyton
and here is the picture
Some real nice types appearing here. Will be interesting to come back to this thread in 2-3 years and see how they fared.
I am intrigued by Arwoc Flier - The Lyon King colt, a colonial bred by most standards. I really hope he turns out for you guys.
Nice filly out of a nice mare, Congrats!!
I was fascinated too. I could not find a descendant in ClassicFamilies but using Ian Daff's Black Book found the 6th dam Aljona
A different arm of Aljona's family produced Tim's Mate NZ (1.56.4 - where?) and Dark Horizon (1.55.6) who HRA has down as winning $241k but his performance history does not add up to $100k so I think they both must have been exported to the US
Greg, here's hoping that your colt out of Arwoc Flier becomes a champ and stallion and resurrects the Big Towner sire line
"DINO"
Pet Rock x The Perfect Mona colt born this morning
Congrats Paul, Nice and Leggy.
Cheers Kevin, I just took pot luck , I do like Sportswriters breeding though and not a bad price and Pepper tree farm have been very good so I have now put the mare to Roll with Joe and will hope for the best. She was a tough customer to beat in her races so a bit of speed injection should help if things turn out right.
Congratulations Paul he's a handsome dude.what a great mare she's been for you and Luke.
I can only wish, I generally draw the line at $5000 for a stallion especially if it is her first foal. It would be a different story if I had a horse that won me some decent money then you can afford to go to the top stallions, especially the star that you mentioned.
I agree Pat, $12.5k is too much
Kissmecatie with her Art Major filly.
(from Rich)
Congratulations Richard. Looks correct and a nice type. Is the rocknroll Hanover colt coming along nicely?
Sorry David, I don't have any interest(Ownership) in this one but the mare is on the same property as my colt, I'll PM you with the other answer mate.
I spotted one of Trevor's on the front of last weeks Trotguide, A very nice Art Major colt out of Ima Spicey Lombo, Congrats Trevor, He looks a ball of energy.
Great Pic
Just received another photo of the colt.
Art Major certainly knows how to pass on his good looks.
