Thank you, she is a nice filly. I love the Somebeachsomewhere - Artsplace cross. He puts that awesome Direct Scooter speed into his progeny. Two brothers won last night: Rocknroll Icon and Honolua Bay and we had a first starter Irish Black Label score too.
From the US
Soho Burning Love now has a record of 1.48.2
Im Sir Blake now has a record of 1.49.2
Gardys Legacy now has a record of 1.49

I keep forgetting the Americans' strange timing system so Soho has actually rated/run 1.48.4 in our language
I have rarely watched any US racing, I can't get excited about 1 mile single file stuff but watching the replay and reading the times for that race, it was amazing to see her as leader most of the way still finishing off with a Q of 25.4 (Aussie timing)
She left here as a top 4yo who raced in all the Gp races and now as a 6yo is probably much stronger but finishing off races that fast - I guess a 55.6 (Aus) first half is called stacking them up over there (Always B Miki's WR 1.46 was run 52.4/53.6)
I know the track is 200m bigger than Menangle but I think her fastest time over here would have been her 7m 4th in the 2019 Ladyship Mile where she was 1x1 all the way and pretty much stayed the same distance behind leader and winner Dream About Me who ran 1.50.1 coming home in 26.6, so Soho would have been < 1.51 that night
3yo Runway Celebrity's 1.53.5 was pretty impressive at Ballarat tonight
It was only her 3rd start and that is only 2.8 secs outside the Tk Rec
Even at 6.30pm the temperature was already down to 4.6° with a feels like temp of only 1.6°

6yo This Is The Plan (Somebeachsomewher) set a World Record as the fastest horse to ever win on a half-mile track when he won the $200,000 Battle of Lake Erie in 1:47.3 (1.47.6 Au) Saturday (June 5) at MGM Northfield Park. Pet Rock's record stood for 8yrs.

This is our own better link

as it provides a replay link - thankfully for I cannot get Northfield Park replays to work on my computer
Can anybody else get Northfield Park to work on the following link
https://www.ustrotting.com/trackside...trackfacts.cfm
Thanks Paul, this is a link to Northfield Park which has a replay link that works

Blowing my own trumpet now, the USTA Tracks page, which is how you get to replays (Boy have we got it easy in Oz), has now changed the Northfield Park link
I managed to get an email to them via USTA (see my post in USA thread to know that this is not as easy as it should be - Americans seem to want phone calls)
American import Aldebaran Revani broke the Australian record for trotting mares when she won easily in 1.53.9 at Menangle yesterday
http://www.harness.org.au/racing/fie...21#PCC31082108
It was the 4yo's 4th win in a row from only 5 Australian starts
