Good night for Modern Art (and what happened to Ultimate Art?)
As well as Lochinvar Art smashing it, Repeat After Me was also a winner on the same card
and for a little bit of icing he was also the broodmare sire of Karinya Rocco winner of the 3yo final at Menangle
Looking at Modern Art's breeding record we find Ultimate Art at the top of the chart
Ultimate Art only retired last year and the entire had already served 9 mares by AI before retiring - producing 5 foals this season.
Sadly I notice Ultimate Art is now listed as Deceased and I also note that he did not serve any more mares this season so he would appear to have died in the 2nd half of last year - not long after last racing in mid March
I cannot find any info on what happened - does anybody know?
