books on driving & training harness horses???
Hi,
I live in the Netherlands and have worked with thoroughbred racehorses all my life. I also work with horses using natural horsemanship practices. I'm getting several harness horses as clients, and am trying to learn as much as possible. I've followed harness racing for over 30 years as a spectator, so I know about the sport in general.
To get a better feel for it, I've started to drive some horses in training, loving is, and the professionals are very helpfull.
I've been looking all over the internet for books on driving and training harness horses, apart from some book from 1830,nothing comes up, its all about betting, famous horses, etc.
I would be very gratefull if anybody could help me here. Surely there must be books written about how best to train & drive???
