Maybe Blake doing Saturday night instead of Friday will work (He has had a dismal run)
He started with a good winner in Jamieson Steele and when I saw his Goodform plan go up this afternoon he was still $8 fixed odds on the TAB
$540 worth of suggested bets tonight including $140 on Early Quaddie (a treble thanks to Ride High in the last leg)
At least it is JB's selections not Blake

Blake Redden's terrible tipping continues in the first at Melton today
(has he had a single Friday meet where he has shown a profit?)
His no.1 tip failed but not only that - he is out of the early quaddie
It is in Quaddies that we some absurd confidence
Taking only 3 quaddies for $10 each
3x1x1x1
And does not even get the first leg
Edit: He did not get a single leg
HRV should think about giving the job to someone else
I wouldn't be such a harsh critic but it is the way these young fellas suggest you throw your money around that IMO demands that they must be judged on results
A fired-up Friday GoodForm Panel featuring Jason Bonnington, Blake Redden and Cody Winnell yesterday on SENTrack with the boys joined by leading trainer-driver Mick Stanley, who made a case as to why Boncel Benjamin looked terrific value at the $11 priced by Bonnington.
Boncel Benjamin is $6.5 into $3.2 with TAB fixed odds, suggesting some big punters are standing with Stanley!

So in actual fact the horse never was $11
The last column does not have a Title, maybe we should call it Fiction

I am not sure what this means for Ride High's race
JB's only taking 4 first four combinations and saying "punters being a little too aggressive and a little too bullish" may help
so is he saying that many will take only 6-5-3-4 or 6-5-4-3
and so he is saying he is really hoping/betting on 1 getting fourth and the first 4 paying $8 so his $60 outlay returns $120

I got thinking about the above after the race
The Exacta was a given
That just left 3rd and 4th
If you knew that one horse was not going to run 3rd or 4th - lets say one of the favoured ones like No.4 Courageous Saint
You only have to take 6 combinations to cover all the possibilites
6/5/1,2,3/1,2,3
Put $1k on each
Ends up the First Four pays $24.90
After an outlay of $6k you collect about $25k
A profit of $19k is tidy
Turns out Courageous Saint never looked like running anything other than 5th or 6th
We all know I can be critical LOL
But I would like to add that I like the Goodform concept but not for what it is intended
I like the fact that it gives the non-punters or virutual non-punters something more to follow :)
I am not sure who the target market is for writing Goodform but Jason Bonnington has to make it reader friendly
In his assessment of the last at Terang he writes
"when MBL kick in then jump aboard the train"
It took me a while to figure it out as Michael Braun (Limited) is not the listed trainer of Willie Go West
Michael Braun ex-trainer who relegated the duties to Amanda Grieve
