Check out race 9 today Wednesday 26th at Charlton.
Ashley leads the race on Conchs Critter and into the straight, now have you ever seen a driver TRY to hit a horse actually any HARDER????
Not quite a "flicking" motion, and for me its the ferocity of each hit, its not how many hits, its like how hard can i belt this horse with every stroke with as much force as the strength in my arms/shoulders will allow.
Not a good look.
Noticed he does that as his "whipping style" with most horses he drives.
Wouldn't put on him on one of mine. (if i owned one!)

Check out the number 13 getting up on the fence in the pink colours in that race. Puts Mr Manton to shame.
