Wanted: Old programs/magazines/etc

Hello.

I am new to this forum and would like to first introduce myself.

My name is Chris and I have been a avid harness racing enthusiast for nearly 3 decades. I cut my teeth on Illinois harness racing and as such, will always have an extra soft spot for it in my heart.

A few years back I was able to purchse a large quantity of harness racing magazines from a nice woman in North Carolina. Her father left them to her and she had little use for them. There were literally thousands of them, so many so, that I had to store the bulk of them in a local storage unit.

Now the bad news. Recently (about 6 months ago), said storage unit was vandalized and the contents of several lockers were lost (yup...mine was one of them). I was able to "recover" some value for the lost items, but I would much rather have the items back themselves.

So I figured why not post a message and see if anyone had anything to offer.

If anyone has any larger quantity of harness racing items (programs, magazines, newspapers, photos, etc) and they are looking to free up some space, I may be your guy.
