Terrible thinking by me, I know, but I could not help but wonder whether Kima had to start producing stories to keep her job in this time of cutbacks

There's an unraced 13 yo trialing in WA at the moment. The owner was promised by the trainer that he'd get it to the races by the time it reaches the enforced age cut off. Time is running out but you've really got to hand it to owners and trainers who are so dedicated to the sport and the love of their geegees. I hope he makes it!!

Does Kima Frenning sell helmets? I noticed the helmet David Moran was wearing at Melton tonight had her name on it

He might now identify as a kima fremming. I even know people who identify as horse trainers!

Noel would have liked this card I found (it could have been as early as 1890's)
    I also found this quote:
In the early 1920's Webster's Dictionary defined a sulky as "so called from the owner's desire to ride alone."
