The other two aren't much better ! Not many stallions around that I've never heard of !
    Don't die wondering !

To be fair Rick, as far as stallions go, Dawn Ofa New Day and Auckland Reactor are a million times better than Uturnbay and the grandsire Screen Play

I'm talking about the combined pedigree , at least the Uturnbay runner is a full sibling to a winner ! Yes the other 2 are much better stallions. Hard to believe Uturnbay has 30 foals .
    Don't die wondering !

Normal transmission has resumed. The debutante ran last, the trainer's record also remains intact.

I like Scott Ewen and I hope he has a good one but I think he may have been drinking the same water as the trainers of those recently declared 'Interdom Hopefuls' after they won a race at Melton eg Giveitatry and Arggghhh
He is talking Derbies after Hes Olly won in 2.00.5 at Cranbourne on Sunday night

The Warragul Derby used to be a handy race but I don't think it has been run in decades.

I was looking at the breeding of one that I noticed was held up in the 2yo at Hamilton today when I saw where its dam had been cleared to (see attached snip)
So I looked up Harness Racing in the Phillipines and found this story about the very same mare (which I missed at Christmas last year)
Old news for some but I thought there may have been others who missed it like I did

It has been a couple of weeks since we lost Nikita Ross to the gallops and I see it was another 'all male' week on Burning Questions (I don't watch it because of JB)
I think our industry requires more variety

Emma Stewart sent 3 to Mildura today and came home with 2 wins and a second

You probably want better than 1 winner to justify a 10hr plus road trip for Ballarat to Mildura
That is further than the Adelaide boys take

Driver Connor Clarke picked up 5 other drives for another couple of wins and seconds to make his tally for the day 8 drives - 4 Wins - 3 Seconds
