    Nothing special on tonight although a listed classic race at Gloucester park should be worth watching, only 6 in the race but I believe all of these horses will be nominated for the Inter Dominion. Connections will be looking for a big race from Runoneover and hoping like crikey he does'nt choke down.

    If he was doing it tough, there is no excuse for not reaching out for help. His property was first visited in April 2016 and he received directions from the RSPCA to care for the horses - he was still racing horses after this as this link to a late May driving suspension shows

    Port Pirie have one of their "race twice in one night" events on Friday. Both races are drawn according to class, yet the barrier draw for the second event has come out differently than the first!?

    Looks like they dont just draw them in barrier number order according to class like they do here again now. So higher class ones draw outside front. R4 gets a lift for mare. So the two R3s draw outside. Rest are R1/2 ... couple have claiming drivers. So they still have to have couple of RBD for all them assessed equally. I guess...
