Archduke Joseph has run 3 close Seconds in his last 8 starts with the latest being tonight at Terang where he closed late after coming from the tail of the field
Tonight's race was for horse's who had not won in their last 5 starts. It was Joe's 66th start and he is yet to win. You have to admire the patience of the connections - I hope it happens soon. Mind you he headed for a spell about this time last year (on the back of a Second) and since then he has had 26 starts this season
Maybe he gets it from his dam Clare O'Brien - she placed 25 times but only won twice in 60 starts
I reckon Joe has a couple of wins in him
