    Jeepers that was huge

That appropriately is how the caller described the win of Midaswell in the trot at Shep tonight
I only tuned into the replay as the results have the MR wrong (I was thinking a massive Tk Rec) but I am so glad I did as it WAS huge and first up for 18mths

Check out the performance of Strazeele, first up at Terang on Tuesday night after 32 months out of business

Don't know if it was huge but it was a pretty big effort first up!

I notice the driver is listed as NSW - did she come down especially to drive him?
The caller also mentioned that Strazeele was only beaten a neck by Midaswell (post 1) in a recent trial

Only if the Ballarat district has been stolen by NSW. Debra Wicks-Moss (nee Wicks) was a pioneering lady-driver in NSW in the 1970s, moved south about a decade ago. Very handy with trotters.

Strange that Driver Chronicles still lists her as NSW

Midaswell's MR has now been corrected to 2.02.8 (not 1.55.6) - he will go much faster one day with a good getaway
    Thanks HRV

Some may not punt on the trotters because of the risk of them breaking but when they do and still get up is one of the most exciting things in our sport
It was The Great Redeemer's turn to put on such a show at Bendigo tonight

Handicap racing is the only other thing that comes close and it is the trotters again that still provide this spectacle
Why was it that we stopped stand starts for pacers while it is still OK for trotters?
