It seems to me that lately we are having more 'longer odds' winners in Vic
This is a purely subjective observation on my part - I have not done any research - it would make an interesting project for someone to do, maybe from the date of regionalization (I don't know that I can commit to it )

$47.20 is not the longest of odds but when winning today at Melton Tiwanaku was the extreme outsider of the field

Only $27.10 for Seeking Thoughts but it was the extreme outsider of the field
More amazing that the fav Philadelphia Freedom was $1.20 - it had run last and 2nd last at its last 2 starts

No wonder the Early Quaddie at Cranbourne jackpotted - in the last 2 legs we had the outsider of the field get up
First of all Rosanna Lindy at $63 ($81 fixed so equal longest). Driven by David Miles who has been absolutely flying (and this was a Tk Rec)
Then in the next Elteearr at $67 ($126 fixed)
