Joe, what's your take on the Lexington sales thus far?
Looking on from afar they seem to be holding up at the top end much, much better than anyone expected, certainly better than I expected anyway.
My take is the states and the sires of the states with great sire stakes are doing well. I think people are scooping up the first time sires RnR Hanovers are off but I think they will rebound in Harris sale how much I don't know.The sale is going awesome if you take the economy and the the way racing is in some states.
Yeh, I noticed that the RnR Hanovers had slipped a bit, 15 sold, 8 went for the US service fee or less.
It's a combination of things I guess, the current situation in NJ doesn't help.
Hey, speaking of NJ...I heard that Gov. Christie is going to take a tilt at The White House? Nucky Johnson would be beaming at the prospect. The Atlantic City boys might finally get a man in The Oval Office.
