Our Uncle Sam the Grand Circuit performed horse draws 2 here instead of 10 last week, Hunter Cup shows he is every bit as good as King of Swing who is the MM favourite.
Brendon what parallel universe are you living in Our Uncle Sam is every bit as good as King Of Swing? KOS has won more money in two starts than OUS has in his racing career. Sam was sucked along in a vortex over 2700 metres in Hunter Cup and still couldn't finish over the top of the King'
And as for being able to run 1:48 in front, Our Uncle has two chances Slim chance and none and Slim's outa town at the moment.

But I will say one thing King Of Swing would not have won the MM without the magic of the Craig Cross/Luke McCarthy combination. Give them a good horse and they will get the absolute best out of them.

Geez, talk about living in a parallel universe!! We can all get a bit parochial from time to time Rod and I reckon it's fair to say you have a s many runs on the board in that department as any other poster on this Forum. KOS got quite a few favours in the Hunter Cup and he got a couple last night as well, he's a great horse that is in the form of his life, that said to suggest Our Uncle Sam was "sucked along" in the Hunter Cup is ridiculous in the extreme, they were walking mate and KOS got home is sub 27 with OUS getting a crack for the last 200 metres of that quarter running him down with every stride and just missing the bickies. Reverse the barrier draws in the Hunter Cup, allow OUS to walk in front as KOS was allowed to and have some of the major challengers in that race held up as they were and there is NO DOUBT in my mind the results would be reversed.

Take a bex and have a good lie down mate.

    Cheers,

    Dan.

    Perfect reply Danno

Not to mention the previous 18 months when Sam was off winning and running countless placing against the best while King wasn't performing great in Perth FFAs.

Note he waited until AFTER the one performance where you can say King might be better to post !

Tip winner who drifted to $6 and marked King on at top @$2.80 who drifted to better than $3.6 and still get a gobfull!

Maybe he is bitter Sam made Galactic Star look 2nd rate, after all GS had the perfect suck run and couldn't run him down

They are Vics. Not locals. A horse trained in NSW won....

You obviously ignored the comment I gave Craig Cross and Luke McCarthy. By the way Harness Link News: Western Australian pacer King Of Swing wins Miracle Mile,

West Australian pacer King Of Swing defied all the efforts of star four-year-old Lochinvar Art to run him down as he scored a stirring two-and-a-half metre win over the Chariots Of Fire winner with the winner's stablemate Alta Orlando a head back in third place.

The winner ran a stunning 1:48.0 mile to join an elite list of pacers to have won the Hunter Cup and the Miracle Mile in the same season.

King Of Swing also joined champions such as Mount Eden, Royal Force, Pure Steel, Preux Chevalier, Village Kid and Norms Daughter who have made the long journey from Western Australia to win Australasia's greatest sprint race.

Have another strong cup of coffee it will help you wake up.

Don't wind me up with those dodgy barrier draws over there Galactic Star barrier 10 had to burn from the outside to get to the front week before barrier 10 Our Alfie Romeo hasn't faired much better with the barrier draws her run on Saturday was a big effort. Galactic Star is not our best horse in WA
and probably his best form is behind him. You've not only stitched up our harness horses our thoroughbreds haven't faired any better Superstorm barrier 7 out of 8 and Regal Power barrier 12 on Saturday so why anybody would want to go over to the Eastern States hell holes beats me, Thank goodness for Western Australia relatively few bushfires no flooding deluges we are the only state now that can truly claim Queensland's old title of '' beautiful one day perfect the next''. By the way, Our Uncle Sam didn't do too well when drawing the outside barrier last Sat week. The horse drew barrier 2 on Sat.

What about the dodgy inside back row draws Galactic Star copped in both the Freo and WA Cups. Cost him victory in both especially the WA Cup. Dodgy barriers!

He is clearly WAs best horse (unless you're still claiming a NZ bred trained in NSW).

All our best horses have been NZ bred have been for many years never made a secret of the fact and yes they do cop bad draws here but it's a consistent pattern over east.

You do realize brenno that every now and then I have to throw a spanner into the works to save the forum from becoming mundane and boring I'll get back to ya down the track.
