    Why did the Auckland Trotting Club replace the legendary Mr Roy Purdon as patron with the not VERY legendary John Banks?

    Hi Duane. This was announced recently. Yes it is shameful, and I am sure a decision that many may be rueing given Mr Banks failed to win the mayoralty. I for one, have never seen him gracing the Park with his presence, or maybe he is slumming it at Top of the Park
