Years ago, back around mid to late 2005 I think it was?, Hayes got on ITG one night & made an unkind remark or two about Harry's at the time injured shoulder/arm which was causing him issues whilst race driving & to the effect that maybe Harry should hang up the whip.
Some 6 or 7 years later it is good to see Harry still going around mainly as testimony to the inaccurate nature of Hayes' age-ist remarks.
In the interim age has caught up with Hayes as he has well & truly begun to go grey and whilst you will not notice it on Sky Channel, if you get up close you'll see the Grecian 2000 is only just managing to hold the show together.

As the above begins to fail, I fear the next stop for Hayes is more than likely the Keithy George look...the 'Kiwi Black' shoe polish combed through the hair.
Now THAT'S something to look forward to.

One of Harry Martin's former horses Pole Position has been doing very well in Maxi Trot concept for promising junior talent Chris Geary. Maxi Trots offers life after racing for our horses and our future drivers have shown they not only have that competitive edge but also are good ambassadors for the sport.
