Pocono today- quite a few that are worth watching

A swag of 2yos going around today at Pocono Downs in both PaSS 2yo Fillies events & some straight up 2yo races.
Amongst a host of interesting ones are some royally bred Somebeachsomewhere youngters plus a few Christian Cullens & also a foal from an AUS bred mare that raced with great distinction in the US.

Race 1
(2) Sweet Lady Jane, a Somebeachsomewhere half sister to Bettor Sweet & Sweet Lou.
Led into the stretch and finished 2nd, dealt to in a pretty slashing 1:51.3 & 4 & 1/4 by the extremely impressive Champagne Tonight (Western Terror-Lake Shore Drive-Real Desire)

Race 3
(2), (4) & (7) Somebeachsomewhere daughters of Appleonia-art, Northern Sky and Rainbow Blue respectively plus (5) Handsoffmycupcake, a daughter of Christian Cullen.
(4) Rainbow Blue's daughter beaten a head in 1:54.0 by Sweet Talia (Real Desire- Wonder Lady- The Panderosa)

Race 4
(5) A Somebeachsomewhere son of Glowing Report (1:49.2 & over $2mil earned)
Finished 5th. Winner was Jones Beach (Somebeachsomewhere-Sweet On Art-Artsplace) in 1:55.2.

Race 5
(5) A Somebeachsomewhere son of Street Dancer (1:49.3 & just short of 870k earned)
Finished 4th. Winner was Banner Beach Day (Somebeachsomewhere-Done Being Nice- Artsplace) in 1:54.1.

Race 11
(2) Good Day Mate, a Christian Cullen sired son of Stienam's Place (1:50.4 & just over $1.4mil earned)
Led until the shadows of the post, beaten by Duel In The Sun (Cambest-Magical Western-Western Hanover) in 1:53.2.

Race 12
(1) A Western Ideal son of $ 1.14mil winning AUS bred mare Miss Galvinator (Fake Left-French Flair)
Got away 3rd, made the lead by the half, led into the stretch & faded late to finish 4th, beaten 4 & a bit by Fraternity (McArdle-Shady Desire-Presidential Ball in 1:54.4.

Race 14
(1) World Cup Cullen, a Chris Ryder trained 2yo son of Christian Cullen/Costol Skyhawk.
Got away 5th, sat pretty much mid pack all the way, finished a well beaten 4th. Race was won by Fateful Choice (Western Terror-Mattatonic-Matt's Scooter) in 1:55.2.
