    Feeder?

    What is a stud doing when they talk about putting in a feeder to encourage mare for insemination. Obviously not googling question correctly cos all am getting is advice on how to feed her

    cue-mare is the equivalent of cue-mate in cycle, I think this is what you are referring to, I think I've heard them being called "Seeders". have seen them used for the mare that is in spring oestrus rather than full oestrus, ie follicle won't mature and ovulate

    Emma it is inserted in the mare for 10 days. After the 10 days take it out and serve on the 15th day from implant.
    We can't get any up here Central West NSW until Jan apparently a supply problem.
