I remember I was just a teenager in Oamaru when Luxury Liner was doing the business up north for Roy/Barry Purdon and Tony Herlihy.
It saddened me heaps when I heard of his passing this month - so I decided to write the following tribute to the grand old 30yo.
I'll never forget what he did for harness racing in the mid to late 1980s. RIP.
