Not worth much anyway. 1.54.5 at Menangle or 1.55.5 at Tamworth.

Last night the Swan Hill 1750 track record was broken twice!
First of all 3yo Warfare lowered it by 0.4 sec in a C0
Then 6yoM Sophies Ideal took a further 0.8 sec in the C6+ to make it a reduction of 1.2 secs and a new mark of 1.53.7

Park Life wins the APG 2yo F in 1.53.2 It is a second outside the NSW 2yoF record but I still find it amazing - it just reflects the improvement in times overall in this country

I could not find chronicles for the evolution of 2yo times but this link shows you the evolution for all-comers (NSW)

For the last 10yrs the 6 record holders have all had NZ after their name (I only counted Smoken Up once)
Before then we had periods where horses held the record for 10yrs

My Mackenzie's 1.52.4 winning the second at Menangle this afternoon is a fair effort for a 3yo filly.

The Australasian mile record for a 3yoF is 1.51.1 (The Orange Agent)

Just looking up what I thought was a fast time at Hamilton today, only to discover it is not within cooee of the Tk Rec and that the Tk Rec was broken twice on March 21 and is now 1.52.7 to the credit of Emmanuel (Spiritwriter briefly held it at 1.53.1)
Does anyone know what it was before March 21 (Alan?)

1.54.7 from a 2yo over the 1730m at Bathurst is only 1.4 secs outside the open age Tk Rec

Strong run from the second youngster, Conviction, Kev.

By a sire close to the McCarthy's heart. http://www.harness.org.au/racing/hor...horseId=788060 A good start to his siring career?

The well named Conviction was certainly impressive Wayne and For A Reason just needs a couple more to really fire from his first small crop of 33 to get himself a bigger book

Doing the usual scan of the day's results and noticed in the first race at Maryborough 3yoF Im Wrongly Accused ran her last Q in 26.8 in winning the C0
Probably not considered anything special nowadays - how things have changed!

It would appear to be some sort of time by Crockets Cullen at Warragul today.
The track was rain affected but he was only 0.8 secs outside the track record, winning by nearly 30m
