In what I would imagine to be pretty cool conditions at 7.30 at Kilmore
Khafaji untouched, got within a second of the 1690m Tk Rec even though he did not get the lead until the 1000m
It was also some run by Two Sock Creek to get second

We are not talking about the same speed as The Lost Storm last night

And I know the two in front were a bit entangled but how fast did 3yo first starter Victortheinflictor finish in R9 at Cobram today

    Speed Explosion or NOT

How slow were they going at the end of R4 at Hamilton today, the last Q was 32.3 and still the winner won by 10m

I calculated that the winner of the R1 2yo on debut ran 4.5 secs faster and was travelling at 14m per second so he would have beaten this lot by over 60m

No speed explosion at Kilmore tonight - too bloody cold
It was like the old days - R1's 1.59.5 was the only one to break 2 minutes

"That's about as quick as I have ever seen since I have been calling"

Adjusted up to 25.1 for Q4
Captain Ravishing, still as green as grass, in what you would not call ideal condiitons, in R7 at Ballarat tonight
Sure they walked for all but the last 800m but this was a first up effort for new the new stable - Emma Stewart

You will notice in the stewards column that they are very interested in the race

Captain Ravishing is the horse that featured in the first post of our thread 'All Things APG'

Blacksadance held the Tk Rec at Albion Park at 1.50 flat
Last night he sat in the DEATH for the first 900m+ before powering to the lead
and SMASHING the record to make it 1.49.2
It seems unfathomable that he can take the best part of a second off the record from the death, winning by 12m with nothing pressuring him

John Poulson's purchase of winless 4yo mare Washington Lass from NZ back in 2011 is now looking inspired
Her record of 10-0-2-2 improved to 43-9-7-6
And now as a broodmare she has provided John with
    5yo Blacksadance
4yo Big Wheels (who also won at APk on Saturday)
    3yo Awaywego

Those 3 have already provided him with 39 wins with plenty of years to run and a couple more on their way to the racetrack

Yes, they walked early but they don't go much faster than Encipher's 26.3 final quarter when resuming at Bendigo tonight
