In the end I told her to go out kick the dog, have a good yell at something/somebody, burn all her driving clothes, and that by lunchtime today she'd be getting herself back up Thankfully she was starting to sound brighter by the end of the phone call. I related to her that I've seen drivers come back with a flat tyre, get out of the cart kick the wheel and say "F... it, that's the 3rd flat tyre in a month".

Isn't horse racing one of the best tests of character? I often try to calm myself by repeating numerous times, you have to experience bad luck so you know what good luck is.
Nothing breaks the addiction, bit of crook luck reminds us a good day is coming closer!!
