    One mean looking radar map

    http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDR021.loop.shtml#skip

has seen Echuca abandoned after 2 races

Jerilderie raider Shane Gilligan was the lucky one
It might not have seemed so after his $73 pop ran 277m last in the first
but he followed it up with an easy win for odds on fav My Mach Scooter in the second
AND they were his only 2 runners for the meet so he was heading home anyway

No Probs Dan, The alarm bells started to ring when I looked at the horses pedigree and noticed it was a 1987 model.

6yo M4/C14 class pacer Kotare Roland, winner of tonight's Claiming Masters Final at Melton, was claimed for $35k

Suggests 3rd placegetter 6yo M1/C6 class pacer Classy Weatern's price would not have to drop much from the asking $40k for him to change stables

The end of an era in some ways today - the last racing activity on the Warragul track before a significant upgrade begins on Monday, October 6 to completely recamber the turns and straights and apply new surface material.

Ironically one of the quickest mile rates ever seen in a trial at Warragul highlighted the program - check out the replay on YouTube www.youtube.com/warragulharness
