They queried the run because it's a sit sprinter and has been driven like that . When it led it was a 100 to 1 chance. Just wondered if they notified the stewards before hand about the chance of tactics.
Anyone know why Mindarie was a late scratching?

Smoken up well and truly done. So sad to watch
Of course nowadays a horse's best racing days are over when they reach double figures and we would like to see him retired but I do not know that you can say he is entirely done.
If you say he is done in relation to his effort tonight against Keayang do you say that Guaranteed is done in comparison to Lenny
It may not be how I would do it but I do not think it so sad.
He is sitting 8th on Australia's money winners for this season (may be passed by Guaranteed after tonight) so it has not been an embarrassing season

Anyone know if Kerryn is ok. I know she bounced up very quickly but that can be purely survival instincts. All the best Kerryn
A somewhat cheeky question after my last post on SU but how many seasons/races can Lenny take like tonight's race. He got plenty thrown at him and he does not particularly like it in my eyes and he goes fairly roughly as well.

I know I appear to be having a one person conversation here (3 in a row on the Sam Anglesey show - showing my age there) but isn't David Aiken romping in the Melton premiership

Big congrats to Bec Cartwright for her training performance with Pressplay last night and a terrific drive by the gifted Amanda Turnbull.
Trigger was not going to win last night, not from that extreme draw and after having a nearly 1 1/2 month break. He ran his usual brave race, & I am sure he will be fitter for that! What is sad to me is, finally his racing days will soon be over, but at the same time, feel so privileged to have seen him race. My favourite horse of all time
When will his farewell tour begin?
