Will be interesting from a Kiwi prospective how Arya goes in the two year old trot at Melton.
This half sister to Stent has to give them 10 meters start but has great manners and a big motor so it should be a good gauge of where she sits with a view to the Breeders Crown which is what she is over there for.

Hi Viv, would Brent Lilley only be the trainer until Mark Purdon arrives?

Arya is obviously performing greatly in the top 2-3 2YO Kiwis and Black Valley for mine is pretty much number 3 in Australia but just at the moment lacks the brilliant speed of the top 2 Aussies.
Neither of these 2 have ever had a SS race yet so either or both could end up 100m behind whoever wins the race! So manners ultimately will win between these 2. If they both trot maybe the Kiwi will win but Black Valley is very solid and will be a better stayer than sprinter and this race is 300m more than Arya has raced over as yet.
The 3YO race previous on the card to the 2YO will be great. it has 4 of the leading Derby hopefuls and will prove to be a match race i think between the kiwis Daenerys Targaryen, Our Twentyten and One over Da Moon who is performing exceptionally well so far since in the C.Lang camp.
Theres a great TM1-TM3 race with Thanesan who looked like a new horse in his first start for the Aiken camp last week, with another week under his belt and the 2 who beat him last week at home in their stable he looks the winner. Now we have 2 problems. In that same race last week Brief Glance was absolutely rocketing home the last 100m and may have won if the race went another 50m. He is racing super well at the moment and finally seems to b living up to his potential, he can win. Problem 2, Mister Gunsen will lead and cross Thanesan but then stop anytime after the 400m mark potentially blocking him from getting out and drawn to follow out Gunsen is Brief Glance who should be right up the front half if he behaves.
Race 1 sees the ever improving Paris Pepperell from the pole, if she leads she should win i think. She has been chasing home Spidergirl lately so thats pretty good form against these guys. Wont be easy by any means tho.
Glenferrie Dreamer off the back row should be right in it and Rostevarren another who has found form.

Great night last week for the trotters in the Vicbred Finals and most went to plan.
Imamenace was a great result nice trifecta, nice $35 winner.
Not sure if anyone picked up in post number 10 in this thread also with "Sea Spray Notch’s time will come soon.", he won next start at $9 and same post, "my good money maker Its Three by Two " who also won next up at $7.60???
No Qld trot this weekend !!!
    Trot on!

LOL just noticed this - I do not think that Arya's last start win counts for much as he was the ONLY HORSE IN THE RACE

ps Why would that race have gone ahead?
