It is quite a deal higher when you try to climb the bank to stand "on the fence" near the finish line, you have to hold on to the fence and hoist yourself up.
The camber rises to the highest point about half way across the track, then tapers across flat to the fence. Perhaps to describe it in layman's terms - compare in the second pic how much grass you can see near the playground, and the bottom of the slide itself.
