It would have been bloody cold at Kilmore tonight
The Kilmore Gap weather station said the bulb read 8.8° at 8pm but the Apparent (feels like temp) was only 2.2°
Same again at Ballarat - the Apparent temp was already down to 1.9° at 5.30pm

(It would not surprise me if Kilmore and Ballarat attendances may have seen them qualify for the Ghost Track thread)

I have had this horse in my Black Book for a long time Allan. It was time for him to go to a new stable. I will not judge Gaita on any improvement he shows even though she will always be under suspicion with her record
We are talking about a horse that ran second to Smolda in a NSW derby (beaten 1m and beat Scandalman into 3rd)
Up until its somewhat below average last 13 starts, its record looks fantastic.
After its easy Melton win Dec 14, 2013 in 1.53.2 - I wrote 'this horse will be a topliner'

I noticed Intergalactic was in the first at Melton tonight but now scratched.
Jodi Q is now listed as his trainer. Would Craig have had to vacate their premises while suspended pending an investigation?

If like me you are too old to become a driver, on a sunny day take some binocs to a trots meeting on a small track - it is like you are right in the cart. Fantastic viewing at sunny Stawell today

7/8 winners at Melton today led all the way with the average winning margin 11m.
You cannot call that contested racing or exciting viewing
