ANZAC. Returned soldiers who excelled as harness racing trainers

I'm sure that there are many who served in WW1 who can be listed.
Let's see how many can be remembered:

    George Daniel Bendigo

    Light Horse
    Gassed and wounded at Gallipoli

Returned to resume a career as a school teacher, trained over 100 trotting and pacing winners including a Ballarat Cup, and both the 1928 and 1929 Richmond Thousands.
Went on to train gallopers including Sailor's Guide winner in the US of the Washington Million.

    Ben Coram

Ben Coram ( from John Peck)
He survived Gallipoli (arm injured) and sent to hospital in Malta - took years before he gained full use of his arm, and went on to be the first Victorian to win an Inter Dominion (1937 - Dan's Son) and was later the leading owner at Melbourne night trotting in its formative years.
