    Nice if you had it!

The Ararat Quaddie tonight paid $31,107.80
It would seem that there were about 1.4 units on it as the pool was $43,791

The fields were small and it would have only taken $5832 to take Field x F x F x F (9x9x8x9)

Two favourites won 2 of the legs while the absolute outsiders won the other 2 legs
    Races 5-8 of course

Another big one at Yarra Valley today

    http://www.harness.org.au/meeting-re...G121015&ms=vic

Quaddie paid $34,529 but there was only a pool of $28,323 so I think I am right in saying that means that nobody had a whole unit on it - very confusing (and there would have to be some jackpotting wouldn't there? But no mention on TAB)

    Easy numbers 2 - 8 - 4 - 8

    $31 - $48 - $1.90 - $11

3 fields into that odds on pop 9x9x1x12 = 972 for 50c would cost $486 would have got you half of the $28k

I am sure someone somewhere had $500 on that Fav to collect < $500 when they could have had $14k

A big one at Horsham today

TAB says Quaddie paid $35,199 but there was only $21,999 in the pool and $8,962 jackpots so it would seem that there were a lot of 'part units' invested

An all up bet would have been the go - $1 all up would have fictionally returned about $102,000 - fictionally because you would have had to have got on at fixed odds and I don't think there is anyway you would have got $2500 on at 40/1 heading into the last

The middle-aged gambler, who wishes to remain anonymous, placed a £19 accumulator bet on five horses running at Punchestown yesterday.
He waged his money at a Coral bookies on Das Mooser at 10/1, Woodland Opera (9/2), Definite Ruby (7/1), Bacardys (10/1) and Canardier (33/1).
Incredibly they were all first past the post in their individual races, winning the punter a massive £822,972.75.

    Cobram Quaddie was $24,383 today!
(Pool only $22,246 so I guess some is jackpotting)

And the longest winner of the day wasn't even a leg while a half neck in the 3rd leg avoided an even bigger jackpot
